  • Alt Text Generator — generates accessible image alt text from uploaded images using AI vision models.
  • Blog Post Generator — creates SEO-optimised blog post drafts based on user-provided topics and keywords.
  • Keyword Generator — produces keyword lists and SEO recommendations for given topics or niches.
  • Shopify Product Generator — generates Shopify-ready product descriptions and CSV export files for bulk import.
  • Shopify Product Enricher — enriches existing Shopify product CSVs with AI-optimised descriptions, SEO metadata, and GEO-ready content for AI search engines.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modifications, suspensions, or discontinuation.

Digital Root Tools offers a free tier subject to the following usage limits, which are enforced per IP address on a daily basis:

  • Alt Text Generator — maximum 5 single image requests per IP address per day.
  • Shopify Product Generator — maximum 10 product generation requests per IP address per day.
  • Shopify Product Enricher — maximum 5 enrichment requests (up to 5 products per request) per IP address per day.
  • Blog Post Generator & Keyword Generator — subject to reasonable fair use limits at our discretion.

Free tier limits are subject to change at any time. Where paid tiers are available, higher limits and additional features are provided as described on our Pricing page.

Attempting to circumvent usage limits through proxy servers, VPNs, IP rotation, automated scripts, or any other means is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent restriction of access.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use the Service to produce spam, deceptive content, or content intended to mislead consumers or search engines in a manner that violates applicable advertising standards or search engine guidelines.
  • Upload images or input content that infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Use the Service to generate content about real individuals in a defamatory or misleading manner.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code, algorithms, or AI models used by the Service.
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service beyond what is expressly permitted by us in writing.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit access to the Service beyond your own authorised use, without our written consent.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, to suspend or terminate access and report matters to relevant authorities.

Our content: All design, branding, software, copy, and other original content on the Digital Root Tools website is owned by or licensed to Digital Root Tools and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Your inputs: You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (images, product names, keywords, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering your requested output.

Your outputs: Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, the AI-generated content produced by the Service in response to your inputs is provided to you for your own use. We make no claim of ownership over outputs generated for you. However, you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the suitability and legality of any content you publish.

6. AI-Generated Content

All content generated by Digital Root Tools's tools is produced by large language models and AI vision systems. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You must review all outputs before publishing or relying on them.
  • Digital Root Tools does not guarantee that generated content will achieve specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or any other SEO outcome.
  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain factual errors, hallucinations, or plausible-sounding but incorrect information. You are responsible for fact-checking any content before use.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that content you publish using our tools complies with applicable laws, search engine guidelines, advertising standards, and any applicable platform policies.
  • Digital Root Tools is not liable for any penalties, ranking losses, or other consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content on your website or platforms.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected.
  • The Service or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Use of the Service is at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) £100.

Where paid subscription tiers are offered:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase. All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and inclusive of applicable VAT where required.
  • Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
  • Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscribers who are dissatisfied with the Service. To request a refund, contact us at hello@digitalroottools.com within 7 days of your initial payment. Refunds are at our discretion for renewals or repeated purchases.
  • Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase, and changes will apply from your next renewal date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to other users, third parties, or Digital Root Tools.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately.
  • Any outstanding fees owed to us remain payable.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.

You may also terminate your use of the Service at any time by simply ceasing to use it, or by cancelling any active subscription.
